SEARCH is proud to recognize Christian Robotti as our inaugural Photographer of the Year!

Through a remarkable eye for detail and a consistent ability to capture the moments that define our work, Christian has helped tell our story with clarity, professionalism, and impact. His images do more than document projects; they communicate our values, our staff, and the quality of what we deliver to clients.

His journey as a photographer began at age five when he helped his father develop black-and-white prints in his makeshift darkroom. By fourteen, he was documenting the everyday lives of strangers—what we now call "street photography." He went on to earn a BFA in Photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design.

Christian is influenced by the pioneers of street photography, including Henri Cartier-Bresson (HCB), André Kertész, László Moholy-Nagy, and Garry Winogrand. When asked about his style, he said: “I approach subjects quietly and unobtrusively, observing as life unfolds, waiting for that fleeting instant HCB described as the Decisive Moment—a fragment of time suspended between the ordinary and the extraordinary.”

Congratulations, Christian!
