Cultural Anthropology

Documenting the communities, lifeways, and heritage of people today.

SEARCH employs a broad range of highly skilled anthropologists with experience conducting oral histories and subsistence studies, recording traditional and indigenous knowledge, and documenting traditional cultural properties (TCP). We were selected to conduct one of the largest TCP studies in the US, which spanned five US states in response to the BP Gulf Oil Spill. Our work is designed to achieve early engagement with stakeholders and local communities and to support local capacity building on projects across the US and globally.
