Ensuring collections today will benefit future generations.

SEARCH has cared for, researched, and preserved hundreds of thousands of objects for abroad spectrum of government and commercial clients.

Our team has worked with collections throughout the United States and its territories. Our projects have conserved Vietnam-era PT boats, Civil War-era torpedoes, the M/V Mississippi V riverboat, and the bathyscaphe Trieste, which descended to the deepest point on Earth. In the US and abroad, we support public and private cultural institutions to develop their long-term collection stewardship goals, unlock research potential, support repatriation efforts, ensure preservation, and engage with new audiences. We also provide long-term embedded support to care for large and complex collections.

Our dedicated staff includes professionals with advanced degrees in museum studies, archaeology, art history, archives and library sciences, and history who are well-versed in the standards set by the American Alliance of Museums (AAM), American Institute for Conservation (AIC), and the Society of American Archivists (SAA).
