H.L. Hunley Recovery Operations Publication

SEARCH is pleased to announce the publication of the H.L. Hunley Recovery Operations, edited by Robert Neyland and Heather Brown, US Naval History and Heritage Command. This first volume in a series, 17 years in the making is a comprehensive archaeological report that documents the recovery of the Civil War Submarine H. L. Hunley as well as the analysis of the objects, hull components, crew remains, and personal effects.

SEARCH is honored to have had Jeff Enright contribute GIS mapping, data analysis and data presentation for this volume, and to have two Maritime Archaeologists, Ivor Mollema and Jason Burns work on the recovery operations.
