SEARCH has a full-time staff of over 40 employees who represent the complete range of disciplines necessary to conduct cultural resource projects.  Our staff has extensive knowledge and experience in meeting national and international standards governing cultural resources.  Our key personnel exceed the qualifications presented in the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards and Guidelines for Archeology and Historic Preservation (Federal Register V.48 N. 190 Part IV p. 44738-44739, September 30, 1983), and are on the Register Professional Archaeologists (RPA).

SEARCH staff includes personnel widely regarded as experts in their fields, and our project managers have the corporate experience necessary for successful completion of individual projects and multiyear contracts.

Staff Training

SEARCH provides professional training of our staff to ensure sound decision making and quality research.  We receive training in the Section 106 process, Section 110, NEPA regulations, NAGPRA, HAZWOPER, state-of-the-art equipment operation, quality control, and health and safety.  SEARCH deliverables always reflect the most current research and meet the latest legislative requirements.

Staff Retention

SEARCH has an outstanding professional personnel retention rate.  Since 1993, SEARCH has continued to add key personnel to develop the broad range of services now provided.  Our traditional and non-traditional employee benefits lead the industry, rival or exceed the benefits offered by Fortune’s 100 Best Firms to Work For annual list, and promote the long-term loyalty of our staff and our staff’s long-term availability to our clients.  Our excellent benefits, including 100% paid medical, are a contributing factor to our outstanding ability to recruit and retain leading professionals.  Our staff has built long-term relationships with our clients and agency personnel that ensure continuity for multi-year contracts and projects.
